History Sandwiched in Heritage Museum

Researching her family history was the springboard for Elisa’s interest in documenting Niceville-Valparaiso history.  In her presentation, Elisa will reveal information about the early history of Niceville-Valparaiso with an emphasis on the life and accomplishments of Robert E. Lee McCaskill.

Elisa Mitchiner, author of the Boggy-Niceville Online History Center, will present “R.E.L. McCaskill: the Most Imposing Personality in the Early Development of Niceville and Valparaiso,” a free lecture at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida, Aug.11 at 12 p.m.
