Narcotics allegedly found in Fort Walton Beach home leads to charges

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — A search of a Fort Walton Beach area home by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office Special Investigations Section reportedly found methamphetamine, fentanyl, and cocaine, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has announced.

According to the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), six people were arrested on various charges after its Special Investigations Section executed a search warrant on October 28 at a residence at 1966 Chesapeake Ridge.

On the scene, deputies allegedly found 121 grams of methamphetamine, 34 grams of fentanyl, 31 grams of cocaine, eight suboxone strips, one suspected ecstasy pill, miscellaneous paraphernalia, and a digital scale that reportedly contained fentanyl residue, the OCSO said.

According to the OCSO, here are the individuals arrested and their charges:

James Banks III, 45, was charged with trafficking fentanyl, trafficking cocaine, trafficking methamphetamine, possession of controlled substance without prescription, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jeffrey Rupert, 59, was charged with obstruction of a search warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Emiley Jo Anderson was charged with obstruction of a search warrant and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Eric Elder was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia.

Davene Owens was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia

Cierra Banks, 23, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and active arrest warrant.
