Jacob Daniel Price was found guilty on March 11, 2026, of two counts of first-degree premeditated murder and two counts of animal cruelty.

Circuit Judge David Oberliesen immediately sentenced Mr Price to two consecutive life sentences with no possibility of parole following the verdict.

According to the Office of the State Attorney for the First Judicial Circuit, the killings occurred on November 13, 2019, at approximately 4 a.m. inside a home in Crestview.

Prosecutors said Price shot his father, Robert Price, twice in the head while he was sleeping. His mother, Jolene Price, was also shot once in the head as she slept.
