NICEVILLE, Fla. — This year’s Niceville Valparaiso Christmas Parade will be led by Retired Fire Chief Tommy Mayville, the Niceville Valparaiso Rotary Club announced.
Mr Mayville retired from the Niceville Fire Department after 43 years of service. He spent his life in the Twin Cities, where he was known for supporting residents, mentoring young firefighters, and remaining actively involved in community events.
The Rotary Club said the selection honors his decades of dedication to the place he calls home and encouraged the community to join them by thanking him for his service.
Weather permitting, the 2025 Niceville Valparaiso Christmas Parade steps off Saturday, December 6, at 10 a.m. The theme is “Unite for the Holidays.”
The route begins at Palm Boulevard and John Sims Parkway, continues west, then turns north onto Partin Drive before ending at Ruckel Middle School.
