OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT) has announced that drivers on P.J. Adams Parkway will encounter alternating lane closures between Crab Apple Avenue and Antioch Road on Sunday, August 24, from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m.
According to FDOT, crews will be installing a drainage pipe beneath the roadway during the work. Law enforcement officers and traffic flaggers will be present to help guide motorists safely through the construction zone.
FDOT noted that all planned activities are weather-dependent and may be delayed or rescheduled if inclement conditions occur. Drivers are urged to use caution, especially at night, and to watch for construction workers and equipment entering and exiting the roadway.
The project is part of FDOT’s ongoing effort to maintain safe and efficient transportation routes in Okaloosa County. For more information, drivers may visit FDOT’s regional website at NWFLRoads.com.
