June 22 vaccination report for Okaloosa

OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. — The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention reports that 38.26 percent of people living in Okaloosa County are fully vaccinated as of June 22.

In Okaloosa County, 76,812 people are fully vaccinated.

An individual is fully vaccinated two weeks after they have received a single-dose shot of the Johnson & Johnson vaccine or or a second shot of either the Pfizer or Moderna vaccines.

Last week, Okaloosa County reported 71 new COVID cases and no deaths. The county reported 86 cases and zero deaths the previous week.

In all, Okaloosa has reported 21,087 cases and 367 deaths.

The Department of Health in Okaloosa County is offering walk-in COVID-19 vaccinations Monday-Friday in Fort Walton Beach and Crestview (Tuesday only).

These are not drive-thru vaccinations.

DOH-Okaloosa is offering Pfizer (12 years of age and older) or Johnson & Johnson vaccine (18 years of age and older).
