FLORIDA — Twelve individuals from Florida are among 13 people indicted on drug conspiracy charges, the US Attorney’s Office for the Middle District of Florida (USAO) announced recently.
On January 24, United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announced the unsealing of the indictment charging the 13 individuals in a drug conspiracy and related charges. According to the indictment, the defendants conspired with one another to distribute cocaine and methamphetamine within the Middle District of Florida.
The following individuals have been charged and are facing potential sentences ranging from 20 years to life in prison, according to the USAO:
- Daniel Carrillo, 35, of Weeki Wachee
- Yoned Onil Santana Vazquez, 18, of Hudson
- Georgelys Natal Vazquez, 27, of Hudson
- Lucy Carrillo Gonzalez, 60, of Port Richey
- Jacqueline Navarro , 53, of Port Richey
- Betsy Luz Trinidad, 32, of Weeki Wachee
- Rolando Alvarez Canete, 40, of Holiday
- Kevin Valdez, 33, of Port Richey
- Victor Hernandez Jr., 24, of Port Richey
- John Patrick Barrett, 57, of Port Richey
- Jennifer Hanna, 51, of Hudson
- Johan Eloy Del Valle Carrillo, 41, of Puerto Rico
- James Perry Oneal, 29, of Clearwater

An indictment is merely a formal charge that a defendant has committed one or more violations of federal criminal law, and every defendant is presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty.
This case was investigated by the Federal Bureau of Investigation, the United States Postal Inspection Service, the Pasco Sheriff’s Office, and the Pinellas County Sheriff’s Office. Assistant United States Attorneys Samantha Beckman and Jeffrey Chang will prosecute it.
