Holiday shopping and Santa visits set for Merry & Bright Market

MIRAMAR BEACH, Fla. — A festive mix of local shopping, family activities, and holiday treats is returning to The Market Shops during the Merry & Bright Market on Sunday, December 14.

The event will take place from 1 to 4 p.m. and will feature Market Shops merchants showcasing some of their most popular giftable items for the season, along with light bites and refreshments.

New this year, a wide range of local makers and artisans will join the market. Participating vendors reportedly include Art by Casey Creates, Bradley Copeland, Charmology, Embroidery by Isla, Hawley Trucker Hats, Katie Witherspoon, Maribel Crockett, Mary Ellen DiMauro, Merry Beth Myrick, Rooted by Ramsey, Serenity by the Sea, Teal Antique, Wooden Waves, and others.

Families can also enjoy complimentary photos with Santa and festive “reindeer” pony rides for children on the lawn, courtesy of Whispering Pines Farms.

“Our shops and restaurants have poured so much heart into creating a cheerful, welcoming atmosphere, and we’re thrilled to open our doors for an afternoon of festive fun the whole family can enjoy,” said owner Bob Duncan.

The Market Shops is located at 9375 Emerald Coast Parkway at the entrance of Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort. The shopping center is described as an upscale, neighborhood-style destination featuring boutiques, specialty retailers, and a variety of dining options.
