“Save the Planet – Save History,” children’s program at the Heritage Museum on Saturday

Students will have fun while learning several ways they can contribute to the 3 R’s, “REDUCE, REUSE, AND RECYCLE.”

“Save the Planet – Save History”, an educational public program for children and families, will be held Saturday, March 18, 1:00 p.m.- 3:30 p.m., at the Heritage Museum of Northwest Florida.

Students will have fun while learning several ways they can contribute to the 3 R’s, “REDUCE, REUSE, AND RECYCLE” with special guests from Emerald Coast Science Center, Waste Management, Florida Fish and Wildlife, and CBA (Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance).

Students will also make a simple bird feeder, a sweet treat to take home, and enjoy a visit with Nonie’s Ark Animal Encounters.

The cost is $8 per student (or $6 for Museum Family Members).

Space is limited.  Pre-registration is required.  No walk-ins please. Call to register: 850-678-2615
