The Florida Department of Health in Okaloosa County (DOH-Okaloosa) announced the update following recent sampling in the affected area.

According to DOH-Okaloosa, testing confirmed that bacterial levels in the water are now below the advisory level.

The advisory had previously been issued due to concerns related to wastewater contamination, which can pose health risks to those who come into contact with affected waters.
