TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Mark Robert Clow, 54, of Tallahassee, Florida, has pled guilty to receiving material constituting child pornography.

Jason R. Coody, United States Attorney for the Northern District of Florida, announced the plea.

Between June 2017 and September 2021, Clow distributed, received, and possessed material containing child pornography, according to the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of Florida.

The agency said that the pornographic material found in Clow’s possession involved a minor under the age of 12.

Sentencing is set for July 8, 2022, at 1:30 p.m., at the United States Courthouse in Tallahassee before the Honorable United States Chief District Judge Mark E. Walker.

Clow faces 20 years in prison, with a minimum mandatory sentence of 5 years in prison, followed by a term of 5 years to life of supervised release following his prison sentence.

The case resulted from an investigation by the Homeland Security Investigations and the Leon County Sheriff’s Office.

The case is being prosecuted by Assistant United States Attorney Meredith L. Steer.
