PENSACOLA, Fla. — The Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE) announced the arrests of 15 individuals reportedly tied to a drug trafficking organization operating across Northwest Florida.
The agency reported the operation was funded through the State Assistance for Fentanyl Eradication (S.A.F.E.) grant program. FDLE Commissioner Mark Glass said the state’s efforts continue to target individuals who are said to have trafficked fentanyl and other narcotics into Florida.
“Florida has drawn a hard, unmistakable line against fentanyl in our neighborhoods. If you bring deadly drugs into Florida, you will be found, you will be arrested, and you will go to prison,” said Commissioner Glass.
“The SAFE program is proof that when you give law enforcement the tools they need, they deliver results.”
FDLE said the investigation began in April 2025. Agents reportedly identified Michael Perry Robinson as the organization’s leader. The group is said to have trafficked fentanyl, methamphetamine, and other narcotics.
On November 19 and November 20, FDLE agents and analysts from the Pensacola, Tallahassee, and Jacksonville regions—along with the FDLE Special Operations Team and FDLE Headquarters personnel—served 22 search warrants.
The Drug Enforcement Administration, Federal Bureau of Investigation, Homeland Security Investigations, U.S. Marshal’s Service, U.S. Postal Inspection Service, Office of Agricultural Law Enforcement, Florida Highway Patrol, Santa Rosa County Sheriff’s Office, Escambia County Sheriff’s Office, Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO), Pensacola Police Department, and Gulf Breeze Police Department assisted.
Throughout the operation, agents reportedly conducted multiple undercover missions. FDLE said those efforts, combined with the search warrants, resulted in the seizure of 14.6 pounds of fentanyl, 58 pounds of methamphetamine, 35 pounds of marijuana, 23 pounds of MDMA, 2.5 pounds of cocaine, 30 firearms, and more than $60,800 in cash.
All 15 individuals were transported to the Escambia County Jail. FDLE said more arrests may follow.
