2018 Family Estuary Festival coming to Niceville

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., local organizations will provide fun activities, hands-on displays and environmental awareness. In this family and community event for all ages, you can learn about the local waters of our estuary and the people living and working there.

Mattie M. Kelly Environmental Institute 11th Annual Family Estuary Festival is coming Saturday, April 14, 2018, to Fred Gannon Rocky Bayou State Park, Highway 20, Niceville.

The event is FREE and open to the public with paid admission to the park.

From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., local organizations will provide fun activities, hands-on displays and environmental awareness. In this family and community event for all ages, you can learn about the local waters of our estuary and the people living and working there.

Participating organizations include Emerald Coast Wildlife Refuge; Niceville High School Gifted Program and NaGISA; Emerald Coast Science Center; Walton County Environmental Department; Choctawhatchee Audubon; Florida Department of Agriculture; Northwest Florida Aquatic Preserves; Topsail Hill Preserve State Park; Choctawhatchee Basin Alliance; UF/IFAS Sea Grant; Florida Fish and Wildlife; and Northwest Florida State College Kids on Campus.
