Twin Cities Elks BPOE Lodge in Valparaiso is serving up its Spring benefit breakfast to help fund youth camp for underprivileged children.
The benefit breakfast is Saturday. March 23, 8 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. It is the third of three benefit breakfasts held by the club this year.
Elks Club members will be serving up scrambled eggs, Southern-style biscuits and sausage gravy, old-fashioned pancakes hot off the grill, sausage, cheese grits, and beverages. Yum!
The cost is $8 per person.
Our local Elks Club supports our community in many ways. Among other things, they make monthly visits to veterans in two local care facilities and support such organizations and causes as Kids on the Water, Paws for Warriors, Back Packs for Kids, Coats for Kids, Dictionaries for all 3rd-grade students in our local schools, and scholarships through the National Elks Foundation,
The Twin Cities Elks Lodge is located at 224 Seminole Avenue in Valparaiso, which is at the intersection of John Sims Parkway and Seminole Avenue.
