FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Eglin Federal Credit Union (EFCU) recently announced that Teri Broxson has been recognized as its 5-Star Performer for the second quarter of 2023.
Broxson, a certified IRA specialist, has been employed with EFCU for 26 years and currently resides in Fort Walton Beach.
“Teri is dedicated and proactive in helping our membership,” said Vanessa Cicchiani-Taylor, member service supervisor.
“She has also immersed herself in the community by volunteering to teach classes at the Center for Lifelong Learning at the University of West Florida to further our members’ and our community’s knowledge about IRA products.”
Broxson began her career at EFCU in 1997 as a special service representative in Fort Walton Beach. She worked in member services and was promoted to supervisor at the Mary Esther branch.
In 2011, she became an IRA specialist. She recently earned her Certified IRA Professional (CIP) designation.
“Teri never hesitates to spend a day with new teammates to help them develop their IRA skills,” said manager Lesli Harding.
“She is happy to offer assistance and is a valued part of the EFCU Member Services team.”
The 5-Star Performer Award is a quarterly employee recognition program. The nominator provides a written submission describing how the employee embraces EFCU’s Five-Star Values: Respectful, Trustworthy, Dedicated, Proactive, and Engaged.
“I really enjoy my work as an IRA specialist and love helping our members at the credit union,” said Broxson.
“Teaching IRA classes at the Center for Lifelong Learning has been a wonderful new way to share my knowledge with the community, and it’s such a rewarding experience.”
