FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — A longtime team member of Eglin Federal Credit Union is being recognized for three decades of service and dedication to the organization.
Belinda Borough, currently serving as a Payment Systems Reconciliation Specialist, marked her 30-year anniversary with the credit union this month. She began her career with EFCU on June 22, 1995, as a Records Vault Assistant and went on to hold a variety of roles over the years, including Teller, Loan Counselor, Returned Item Representative, Executive Assistant, and others.
Dawn Oravetz, Senior Vice President and Chief Payments Officer at EFCU, praised Ms Borough’s contributions and character.
“It’s rare to find someone as dependable, thoughtful, and genuinely dedicated as Belinda,” said Ms Oravetz.
“For 30 years, she has been a cornerstone of the Credit Union—always ready to help, always doing her best, and always making a difference. Known for her kindness, professionalism, and steady presence, Belinda has made a lasting impact across departments and among colleagues. We are very fortunate to have her as part of our Credit Union family.”
Ms Borough said her time at Eglin Federal Credit Union has been deeply rewarding.
“I’ve been blessed to grow with the Credit Union over the years and to work alongside so many wonderful people,” said Ms Borough.
“Every role I’ve had has taught me something new, and I’m grateful for the opportunities, the friendships, and the chance to serve our members every day.”
