Easter egg hunters are in for a triple treat Saturday in Niceville, Valparaiso and Bluewater

Weather permitting, Saturday in the Twin Cities will be a day in paradise for youngsters who enjoy hunting and dashing for Easter eggs. Three public Easter egg events are scheduled to take place Saturday in the Twin Cities area: one each in Niceville, Valparaiso and Bluewater.

THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED BY THE CITY OF VALPARAISO DUE TO INCLEMENT WEATHER.

The City of Valparaiso will hold its 2016 Easter Egg Hunt at Lincoln Park beginning at 9 a.m.

There will be more than 2,500 plastic eggs containing candy, stickers and toys. Also, free rides for kids on Valparaiso’s Little Train!

Lincoln Park is located on Bayshore Drive.

The Easter candy and goodies will be given to youngsters this morning (Saturday), 11 a.m. to noon, in the Council Chamber at City Hall

The City of Niceville will hold its 2016 Egg Dash at the City Softball Complex at 11 a.m. sharp.

The Egg Dash is for children ages 8 and under. Children collect colorful plastic eggs filled with candy and small toys. Some eggs will contain small pieces of paper redeemable for a larger prize.

Bluewater Community Church will hold its 2016 Easter Egg Hunt at 4580 Range Road at 12 noon.

In addition to egg hunts for all ages, youngsters can take part in other fun activities beginning at 11 a.m.
