Crestview drug raid leads to three arrests

CRESTVIEW, Fla. — A narcotics search warrant executed by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office has resulted in the arrest of three individuals in Crestview following an investigation led by the Multi-Agency Drug Task Force.

The search took place on September 26 at 663 Lee Avenue in Crestview, where investigators reportedly discovered fentanyl, methamphetamine, and drug paraphernalia.

The operation led to the arrest of the following suspects:

  • Lonnie Ray Ward, 58, of Crestview, charged with trafficking in fentanyl and possession of drug equipment.
  • Ashley Woody, 33, of Crestview, charged with resisting the execution of a search warrant.
  • Kenneth Nelson, 37, of Crestview, charged with possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug equipment.

The Multi-Agency Drug Task Force, led by the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office, includes officers from the Crestview Police Department, Fort Walton Beach Police Department, and the Niceville Police Department. The task force reportedly plays a crucial role in addressing narcotics distribution in the region.
