OKALOOSA COUNTY, Fla. — Okaloosa County recorded 284 new COVID-19 cases in the week ending Thursday, July 15, according to the Florida Department of Health.
The testing positivity rate is 15.5 percent in Okaloosa for the week of July 9-15, according to the FDOH.
There were 864 vaccinations administered in Okaloosa County during the week of July 9-15.
Okaloosa’s vaccination rate is 44 percent (persons 12+), according to the FDOH.
Statewide, the new case positivity rate has risen to 11.5 percent.
About 3,200 people are hospitalized with COVID-19 in Florida. There were 59 deaths related to COVID-19 during the most recent week.
