Cocaine, mushrooms found in Fort Walton Beach drug search: OCSO

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Three men were arrested Wednesday after a narcotics search at a Fort Walton Beach residence uncovered cocaine, psychedelic mushrooms, and drug paraphernalia, the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office (OCSO) announced.

The OCSO said its Multi-Agency Drug Task Force executed a search warrant at 715 Tuxedo Drive and recovered multiple illegal substances and materials. The location is also the subject of public nuisance charges, according to investigators.

The following individuals were arrested and face multiple drug-related charges:

  • William McFee, 33, charged with possession of cocaine, possession of psychedelic mushrooms, possession of drug paraphernalia, and keeping a public nuisance
  • Johnathan McFee, 34, charged with possession of cocaine, keeping a public nuisance, and resisting without violence
  • James Monsees, 52, charged with possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia, and keeping a public nuisance

The OCSO Multi-Agency Drug Task Force is led by the sheriff’s office in partnership with the Fort Walton Beach Police Department, Crestview Police Department, and Niceville Police Department.
