City of Niceville to recognize Lannie Corbin on new municipal complex sign

NICEVILLE, Fla. — The City of Niceville is set to pay tribute to a local legend who will be recognized on a new entrance sign at the city’s municipal complex.

According to the City of Niceville, the new sign will honor former city manager Lannie Corbin, who recently retired after 52 years of service to the community.

The community is invited to attend this special occasion at the municipal complex on Wednesday, March 13, at 11:30 a.m.

The event will feature a ribbon cutting and unveiling of the new entry sign, which will be dedicated to honoring and remembering Mr Corbin’s many contributions.

“What a pleasure it is to recognize outstanding service, which is exactly what Mr. Lannie Corbin provided during his remarkable 52 years of service to the city council and the citizens of Niceville,” said City Clerk Dan Doucet, who worked alongside Mr Corbin for 30 years.

The City of Niceville Municipal Complex is at 208 Partin Drive North, Niceville, FL 32578.
