DEFUNIAK SPRINGS, Fla. — The Christmas Tour of Homes returns to DeFuniak Springs this Saturday, offering a welcoming and festive look inside some of the community’s most cherished historic properties, according to organizers.
The tour, held December 6 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., invites visitors to slow down, enjoy the season, and experience the unique character of the homes and buildings surrounding scenic Lake DeFuniak. Among this year’s highlights is the well-known Pansy Cottage, built in 1885 and still regarded as one of the area’s architectural treasures.
Organizers said more than 15 homes, churches, and businesses will be open for guests, each offering its own story, history, and charm. Tickets are $25 per person, and additional details, including information on featured homes, are available at www.bit.ly/DFS-TOH25.
Visitors are encouraged to make a day of their trip. After the tour, downtown DeFuniak Springs will be filled with seasonal activities, including the Main Street Mistletoe Market, the Festival of Trees, and the evening glow of Christmas Reflections, a tradition featuring more than 10 million lights around the lake.

Proceeds from the tour benefit the St. Agatha’s Episcopal Church Preservation Fund, which supports restoration and maintenance of three historic structures on Circle Drive.
