NICEVILLE, Fla. — Join Chef Warren Caterson at the Niceville Community Center on Friday as he shares all the tips and hints you’ll need to elevate your grilling from “ho-hum” to “oh, my!”
The free event is part of the Niceville Public Library’s Collaborative Summer Library Program. It is being held at the Niceville Community Center, 204-C Partin Drive North on February 18 beginning at 1 pm.
Caterson, widely known as Chef Warren, will share dozens of kitchen tips, cooking hints, and humorous anecdotes about the joys and challenges of one-pot meals.
Whether you’re cooking in a crockpot or Dutch oven, you’ll find yourself making these incredible one-pot meals for your family or dinner guests.
Chef Warren will show you how to prepare delicious and healthy meals without resorting to boxes of instant meals, frozen entrees, or dozens of ingredients.
He will also show you the importance of creating a great foundation for any one-pot meal, and creative ways to add starch to your entrée (it doesn’t always have to be pasta).
He’ll show you how to create several one-pot meals by using ingredients you probably already have on hand, and yes, one of them is vegetarian.
Chef Warren will end the presentation by preparing a healthy grilled marinated swordfish entrée that you can replicate at home in less than 10 minutes.
