SEAGROVE BEACH, Fla. — Café Thirty-A will host its annual Christmas Charity Ball on Saturday, December 7, with proceeds benefiting Caring and Sharing of South Walton.

The event, held at the restaurant located at 3899 East County Hwy 30A, is dedicated to the memory of longtime owner Harriet Crommelin, who passed away in 2023. Honorary sponsors for this year’s celebration include Earl Bacon, the Ellis Family, and Thomas Howell Ferguson.

From 6 to 10 p.m., the restaurant will transform into a festive venue with holiday décor curated by Teresa Felton of La Florida Properties. Guests will receive complimentary valet service courtesy of All Access Coach and Leasing and a champagne toast presented by Thor Construction and Design upon arrival.

The evening features a dinner buffet with Café Thirty-A’s signature dishes, hors d’oeuvres like hand-rolled sushi, and desserts sponsored by Haney Holloway, LLC. A cash bar will be available, courtesy of All Access Coaching and Leasing.

Attendees can also enjoy a photo booth provided by A BOHEME Design and dance to music by DJ Casey, sponsored by Marsh Lending. Santa, sponsored by Centennial Bank, will make a special appearance.

Evening attire is encouraged, with black tie optional.

“We invite the community as well as our longtime patrons to kick off the holiday season with us,” said Jackie Maliszewski, co-owner of Café Thirty-A.

“It’s the perfect way to start the season of giving and helping those in our local community who need it most.”

The event will include one of the area’s largest silent auctions, sponsored by disco in Rosemary Beach, featuring contributions from local businesses and a generous raffle package.

In 2023, the event raised $64,000 for Caring and Sharing of South Walton, which supports local families and individuals with food and financial assistance.

Tickets are $150 in advance or $175 at the door. All ticket and auction proceeds will benefit Caring and Sharing of South Walton. Interested businesses can contact Jessica Bracken at [email protected] for auction donations. Tickets can be purchased online at www.cafethirtya.com.
