SEAGROVE BEACH, Fla. — Café Thirty-A’s Annual Christmas Charity Ball raised a record-breaking $81,000 for Caring and Sharing of South Walton, a nonprofit organization that provides food, financial assistance, and other resources to Walton County families in need, said event organizers.
The sold-out event, held on December 7, 2024, welcomed over 250 guests to the festively decorated restaurant courtesy of Theresa Felton with La Florida Properties. Guests were greeted with complimentary valet parking, champagne, and access to heavy hors d’oeuvres, a gourmet dinner buffet, and desserts. A pre-party event, photo booth, and DJ added to the evening’s festivities, with Santa making a surprise appearance.
Through ticket sales, sponsorships, and an extensive silent auction featuring art, jewelry, and luxurious gift baskets, the event raised $81,000. The funds will help Caring and Sharing of South Walton provide local families with food, financial assistance, case management, and connections to additional resources.
“The needs of our community are greater than ever; we ended 2024 seeing a record number of clients,” said Carly Barnes, executive director of Caring and Sharing of South Walton.
“The $81,000 raised at the Charity Ball will help us continue providing necessary resources to Walton County families.”
Café Thirty-A thanked its many sponsors, including Earl Bacon, the Ellis Family, Thomas Howell Ferguson, and numerous businesses and individuals who contributed to the event’s success.
