SEAGROVE BEACH, Fla. — Café Thirty-A will celebrate its 30th anniversary with its annual Christmas Charity Ball on December 6, with all proceeds benefiting Caring and Sharing of South Walton, the restaurant announced.
The event will honor the late longtime owner, Harriet Crommelin, and is being presented by honorary sponsors Coastal Luxury Real Estate, Earl Bacon Agency, and Thomas Howell Ferguson P.A. From 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., the restaurant will be closed for the private celebration and transformed with festive décor by Palms 30A.
Guests will receive valet service courtesy of All Access Coach and Leasing and a champagne toast provided by Clear Title & Escrow LLC. A VIP party hosted by Keller Williams will recognize sponsors.
Throughout the evening, Café Thirty-A’s culinary team will serve hors d’oeuvres, including hand-rolled sushi, and a dinner buffet featuring the restaurant’s signature dishes. Guests can enjoy desserts sponsored by Haney Holloway and cocktails from the cash bar sponsored by All Access Coach and Leasing.
Entertainment will include a photo booth by Epic Photo Co., courtesy of A BOHEME Design, and music by DJ Casey, sponsored by Maranta Copy Co. Santa will also make an appearance courtesy of Barnes Capital Group. Evening attire is requested; black tie is optional.
“David and I are incredibly honored and grateful to be able to host the Christmas Charity Ball again this year for Caring and Sharing,” said Café Thirty-A co-owner Jackie Maliszewski.
“We hope to continue Harriet’s legacy for many years to come.”
The restaurant’s upstairs area will be converted into a festive lounge by Engel & Völkers 30A Beaches, featuring a live pearl station from Wendy Mignot to symbolize the 30-year milestone.
Guests can also participate in one of the area’s largest silent auctions and a raffle, with 100 percent of proceeds benefiting Caring and Sharing of South Walton. The 2024 event raised a record $81,000 through ticket sales, donations, and auction proceeds.
Tickets are available for $150 in advance or $175 at the door, with all proceeds supporting Caring and Sharing’s work to provide food, financial aid, counseling, and community resources to Walton County residents. Tickets can be purchased at www.cafethirtya.com.
