Niceville’s best-known chef has opened a second eatery in the nicest little city in the South. Chef Brian Cartenuto bills his new Brass Rooster Public House as a gastropub, pub, and new American restaurant. It is located in the Palm Plaza in Niceville, adjacent to Joey’s Italian Grill.
Brass Rooster Public House features burgers, fish and chips, fresh pasta, flat breads, soups, salads, desserts, craft beers, wines and cocktails.
Nightly specials include such delights as meatloaf, shepherd’s pie, chicken schnitzel, pork chops, seafood paella, and prime rib.
“From our chicken dumpling soup, bacon wrapped dates, BBQ shrimp, fish and chips, braised chicken, pub burger, and Coulibiac (salmon in puff pastry), we have something for you!” reads a post on the Brass Rooster’s Facebook page.
Brass Rooster Public House strives to use locally sourced meats, produce, breads, beers, and spirits. Its current menu is shown below.
