NICEVILLE, Fla. — The Friends of the Niceville Library will host a Sidewalk Book Sale on Saturday, May 31, offering bargain books and a chance to win gift baskets in a fundraising raffle.

The event will run from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. outside the Niceville Public Library. Shoppers can expect steep discounts, with all books priced at $1 or less. Children’s books and mass-market paperbacks will be available for just 25 cents each.

In addition to the book sale, the Friends will raffle off two themed gift baskets as a fundraiser for the Niceville Public Library Foundation, which supports library programs and projects.

Raffle tickets will be sold for $5 each or five for $20. Tickets must be purchased with cash.

Book sale purchases can be made with cash, check, or card.

The Friends of the Library is a volunteer group dedicated to supporting the Niceville Public Library through fundraising and community outreach.

The sale is being held both outside and inside the Niceville Public Library. The library is at 206 Partin Dr. North, in the civic center complex.
