Ahoy boaters! You are invited to help celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Emerald Coast Autism Center’s home on the campus of Northwest Florida State College by taking part in a boat decorating contest.
The September 28 contest, a fundraiser for the Emerald Coast Autism Center, is being held in conjunction with a one-year anniversary celebration at Fuel Restaurant at Emerald Coast Marine Center in Niceville. The event, set for 4 p.m. to 8 p.m., will feature food, craft beer, and music. The boat decorating contest is 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

Organizers promise a “major” grand prize for the winning entry.
The cost to enter is $25, All proceeds from the boat decorating contest benefit the ECAC. Boaters must register in advance by completing and submitting a brief form. The entry deadline is Sept. 21. The $25 entry fee is due upon arrival at the marina on the day of the event. Boaters must arrive by 6 p.m. and be present for the announcement of the winner at 7:30 p.m.
Participants in the contest will be provided a space to dock their boats for the evening at the marina.

Emerald Coast Autism Center is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to educating and improving the lives of young children with autism in Okaloosa and Walton counties and surrounding areas.
