NICEVILLE, Fla. — The 2025 Big Truck Day is set to take place on Saturday behind the municipal complex in Niceville, giving families a chance to get up close to the city’s biggest work vehicles.

The 2nd annual event will be held on Saturday, April 5, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., in the softball complex parking lot at the rear of the city complex. Children and adults alike are invited to explore a range of trucks used throughout the city, including garbage trucks, fire engines, street sweepers, and more.

The City of Niceville says the event is designed to be a fun, hands-on experience for all ages.

A special Sensory Friendly Hour will take place from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m., during which children will be able to climb into and touch the trucks without the typical flashing lights and sirens.

The city encourages families to come out and enjoy the event, which is free and open to the public.
