Traffic advisory, state roads, Bay County, Florida (Florida Department of Transportation)

PANAMA CITY, Fla. – Motorists will encounter traffic disruptions on the following state roads in Bay County and Jackson County this week as crews perform construction and maintenance activities.

Bay County:

– State Road (S.R.) 390 Widening from Jenks Avenue to S.R. 77
Kentucky Avenue is closed at S.R. 390 intersection. Drivers may use Carolina Avenue or West 18th Street to access S.R. 390.

– U.S. 98 (Beach Drive) Resurfacing from 15th Street to West of Harrison Avenue
Drivers will encounter intermittent lane closures on Beach Drive from Balboa Avenue to 6th Street from 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. Monday, April 18 through Tuesday, April 19 for paving work. Flaggers and traffic control devices will assist in directing motorists through the work area.

– U.S. 98/TAFB Flyover
U.S. 98 westbound traffic, from Louisiana Avenue to Tyndall Drive-Airey Avenue, will be shifted slightly north next week so construction can continue on the elevated travel lanes. No oversized permit loads will be allowed while the lane shift is in place.
