April 29 COVID-19 cases update for Okaloosa, Niceville

The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 153, one new case since Tuesday morning. The number of confirmed cases in Niceville remains at 21.

NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 153, one new case since Tuesday morning. The number of confirmed cases in Niceville remains at 21.

The number of hospitalizations in Okaloosa is 24, the same number as yesterday.

The number of deaths in Okaloosa County remains unchanged at three.

To date, 2,504 tests reportedly have been performed in Okaloosa County.

Here’s the latest breakdown by city in Okaloosa (note that the city is not always reported as part of the initial notification and may be missing while the case is being investigated):

  • Fort Walton Beach, 60, one more since yesterday
  • Destin, 28, no change
  • Niceville, 21, no change
  • Crestview, 16, no change
  • Shalimar, 12, no change
  • Mary Esther, 5, no change
  • Eglin AFB, 2, no change
  • Laurel Hill, 1, no change
  • Missing, 1, no change
