April 25 COVID-19 cases update for Okaloosa, Niceville

NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 149, four new cases since Friday morning. The number of confirmed cases in Niceville is 21, unchanged since yesterday.

NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 149, four new cases since Friday morning. The number of confirmed cases in Niceville is 21, unchanged since yesterday.

The number of confirmed cases involving residents or staff at long-care nursing facilities is 28, one more since Friday morning.

The number of hospitalizations in Okaloosa is 24, no change since yesterday morning.

The number of deaths in Okaloosa County remains unchanged at three.

To date, 2,115 tests have been performed in Okaloosa County.

Here’s the latest breakdown by city in Okaloosa (note that the city is not always reported as part of the initial notification and may be missing while the case is being investigated):

  • Fort Walton Beach, 57, one more since Friday morning
  • Destin, 28, no change
  • Niceville, 21, no change
  • Crestview, 16, one more since Friday morning
  • Shalimar, 12, no change
  • Mary Esther, 5, no change
  • Eglin AFB, 2, no change
  • Laurel Hill, 1, no change
