April 23 COVID-19 cases update for Okaloosa, Niceville

The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 137, three new cases since Wednesday morning (one previously reported case by the FDOH was removed overnight). The number of confirmed cases in Niceville is 19, one more since yesterday.

NICEVILLE, Fla — The Florida Department of Health reports this morning the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in Okaloosa County is 137, three new cases since Wednesday morning (one previously reported case by the FDOH was removed overnight). The number of confirmed cases in Niceville is 19, one more since yesterday.

The number of confirmed cases involving residents or staff at long-care nursing facilities is 27, two more since Wednesday morning.

The number of hospitalizations in Okaloosa is 24, one more since yesterday morning.

The number of deaths in Okaloosa County remains unchanged at three.

To date, 1,803 tests have been performed in Okaloosa County.
