A favorite Valentine’s tradition returns at The Wharf 850

NICEVILLE, Fla. — Valentine’s Day is a time many Niceville couples look forward to spending together, and for years, The Wharf 850 has been one of those familiar places people return to for a relaxed night out.

That tradition continues this year as The Wharf 850 prepares to host a special Valentine’s Day dinner on Saturday, February 14, at its location on Bayshore Drive overlooking Boggy Bayou.

Service begins at 4 p.m., with the final seating at 9 p.m.

The Valentine’s Day dinner is priced at $129.95 per couple and includes an appetizer, two entrées, two desserts, and a bottle of wine or champagne, or a choice of two cocktails or mocktails.

Appetizer selections include Caprese with basil, tomato, garlic, mozzarella, and balsamic glaze served with fresh-baked flatbread strips; Crab Dip made with lump crab meat baked in a creamy cheese sauce and served with fried saltines; or Spinach Dip baked with cream cheese, sour cream, garlic, parmesan, and mozzarella, served with house-made tortilla chips.

Couples may choose any two entrées from the Valentine’s menu, including Chicken Piccata served over linguine in a lemon butter caper sauce; Redfish Pontchartrain topped with crawfish sautéed in a Pontchartrain sauce and served with rice pilaf and broccolini; Coffee Crusted Filet served with oven roasted fingerling potatoes and parmesan dusted asparagus; or Brown Butter Mushroom Alfredo with sautéed portabella mushrooms in a rich alfredo sauce over linguine noodles.

Dessert options include Chocolate Lava Cake, topped with strawberry compote and whipped cream, or Turtle Cheesecake, layered with chocolate, caramel, and pecans.

The dinner also includes a choice of one bottle of wine or champagne, including Yelland’s Sauvignon Blanc Organic, Ghost Pines Cabernet Sauvignon, or Alta Vista Brut Champagne, or a choice of two house cocktails or mocktails.
