The Mid-Bay Rotary Club is keeping the German tradition alive in Bluewater Bay with its 2014 Oktoberfest, September 26-27. This is the 21st annual event.
The two-day celebration will be held in the Winn-Dixie parking lot. Friday hours are 5 p.m. to 10 p.m.; Saturday hours are 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Admission is free.
Enjoy an abundance of live music, arts and crafts booths, children’s activities, German Oktoberfest beer, wine and German food – such as grilled bratwurst and homemade authentic German sauerkraut from an old Bavarian family recipe. Traditional festival fare and soft drinks will also be available.
The whole family will enjoy the festivities, food, entertainment, clowns and children’s rides.
The Winn-Dixie Shopping Center is located on Hwy. 20 in Bluewater.
