Regional award recognizes Eglin FCU marketing campaign

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Eglin Federal Credit Union’s Marketing Department has received regional recognition for an advertising campaign that highlighted the Gulf Coast lifestyle while promoting the credit union’s auto lending program.

The Southern Public Relations Federation recognized the department with a 2026 Lantern Award on Sept. 22 in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.

Eglin FCU’s spring 2025 auto loan campaign, “Dive into Incredible Savings,” received a Lantern Award of Merit in the Advertising & Publications category.

According to Eglin FCU, the campaign surpassed its reach and engagement goals while delivering a strong return on investment. The campaign used community-focused creative elements inspired by the Gulf Coast lifestyle to promote the credit union’s auto lending services.
