NICEVILLE, Fla. — The Okaloosa County School Board has approved the appointment of a new assistant principal at Northwood Elementary School, according to the Okaloosa County School District.
Haleigh Moore was named assistant principal of Northwood Elementary School during the School Board’s January 12 meeting.
Ms Moore was born and raised in Crestview, where four generations of her family have graduated from Crestview High School. She is a member of the Crestview High School Class of 2013.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in project management from Northwest Florida State College in 2016 and later completed a degree in educational leadership from the University of West Florida.
During her career, Moore has taught and supported students at Riverside, Walker, and Shoal River, gaining experience across multiple school communities within the district.
According to the Okaloosa County School District, her background in project management and educational leadership supports a structured, student-centered approach to school operations, planning, and instruction.
Ms Moore is said to be focused on building positive relationships with students, families, and staff at Northwood Elementary School while working to foster a supportive learning environment for all students.
