NICEVILLE, Fla. — A Very Niceville Christmas begins tonight at the Niceville Municipal Complex, offering two evenings of family-friendly festivities from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., according to the City of Niceville.
The City of Niceville announced that the Municipal Complex will host a winter-themed celebration on Friday, December 12, and Saturday, December 13, for the second annual event.
Organizers reported that this year’s activities will include hayrides, pony rides, food trucks, craft vendors, snow, music, photo opportunities, hot cocoa, a cake walk, Christmas story times, a Letters to Santa station, and additional seasonal attractions.
The city added that the Children’s Park will host a holiday movie under the stars tonight. On Saturday, the park will hold its annual Santa in the Park event as part of the weekend festivities.
Guests attending Saturday evening’s festivities will have the opportunity to support Toys for Tots. Donations of new, unopened, unwrapped gifts may be dropped off at the collection bin near the front entrance of the Niceville Library.
The lower Municipal Complex parking lot will close at noon today. The parking lot will remain closed until the event ends Saturday evening. Event parking will be available in the Senior Center and Softball Complex parking lot.

Craft vendors are scheduled to begin setting up at 2 p.m., followed by food truck setup at 3 p.m., according to the city.
