NICEVILLE, Fla. — The Niceville–Valparaiso Rotary Club will host its 2025 Christmas Boat Parade on Sunday, December 21, 2025, bringing decorated boats and holiday lights to Boggy Bayou.
This year’s parade begins and ends at Safe Harbor Emerald Coast and Emerald Coast Marine. Organizers said there will be numerous viewing areas along Boggy Bayou for spectators to enjoy the procession. See the 2025 parade route below.
Festivities at the marina begin at 6 p.m., followed by an awards ceremony at 7 p.m. The Rotary Club noted that registration is $30 per boat, with an optional $20 add-on for participation in the Bluewater Bay Marina Boat Parade on December 20. Boats may be decorated once and take part in both events.
The parade route travels the length of Boggy Bayou, starting near the marina before making several turns along the shoreline. Boats will proceed south toward Toms Bayou before looping back north along Bayshore Drive and returning to the starting area. Organizers encouraged spectators to line the shoreline early.
The schedule includes a captain’s meeting at 4:30 p.m., staging at 5 p.m., and a parade start time of 5:30 p.m.
The Rotary Club said proceeds from the parade will help provide holiday meals for sharing and caring families and support additional community service projects throughout the year.
