NICEVILLE, Fla. — The holiday spirit is settling in at the Niceville Police Department this week as it prepares to welcome families for cocoa, cookies, Christmas lights, and a chance to help local children.
Cocoa with a Cop returns on December 5 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at 212 N. Partin Drive. The department said families are invited to stop by, enjoy a warm drink, and take in the lights throughout the municipal complex. Christmas trees will be available, and children may get a visit from Santa during the evening.
The gathering has become a familiar stop for many residents, offering a relaxed way for families to enjoy the season and spend a little time with the officers who serve the community.
As part of the event, visitors are encouraged to bring a new, unwrapped gift for Toys for Tots. The department said these donations help brighten the holidays for local children.
In addition to the event, the Niceville Police Department announced it is once again an official Toys for Tots drop-off location for 2025. New, unopened, unwrapped gifts may be brought to the lobby any time through December 11. The lobby is open 24 hours a day, making it easy for anyone to stop in at their convenience.
The department said it is grateful for the steady support the community shows each year and looks forward to sharing a little holiday cheer with every family who comes by.
