NICEVILLE, Fla. — Two major fundraising events in Niceville and Pensacola have delivered a powerful boost for foster children across Northwest Florida, generating more than $119,000 to support essential needs in four counties.
According to the Northwest Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation, the funds will directly benefit more than 1,500 children served annually in Walton, Okaloosa, Santa Rosa, and Escambia counties.
The Foundation said the money helps meet essential needs not covered by state funding, including clothing, therapeutic services, educational enrichment, extracurricular activities, and dental and medical care.
The Garden Gala, held on October 26 at The Shop at Baldwin Turf in Niceville, offered guests an evening of dining, live music, and fundraising activities. Attendees enjoyed wines from Thompson 31 Fifty Wines, local craft beer from Third Planet Brewery, catering by Townsend Catering, a wine pull, and a silent art auction.

The Foundation said the event in Niceville raised $38,232 to support ongoing services for foster youth.
The Foundation then hosted Groove & Give with The Mulligans on November 7 at The Sanctuary Event Venue in Pensacola. Presented by Sandy Sansing Dealerships, the event featured a live performance by The Mulligans, with music from The Beatles, Eric Clapton, Tom Petty, The Eagles, and Billy Joel.
Guests enjoyed hors d’oeuvres from Culinary Productions, drinks from Tap the Coast, a paddle pull, a live auction, and dancing. The Foundation reported that the event raised $80,910.
With combined proceeds exceeding $119,000, the Foundation said the two events reflect strong community support across the region.
“This community continues to show up for our children in the most extraordinary ways,” said Virginia Davis, President of the Northwest Florida Guardian ad Litem Foundation.
“Raising over $119,000 across these two events speaks volumes about the heart of our region. Every dollar helps us provide stability, dignity, and opportunity to children navigating the foster care system. We are deeply grateful to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, or partnered with us.”
The Foundation expressed appreciation to all sponsors, partners, volunteers, and attendees who contributed to the events and emphasized that continued support ensures foster children have the stability and resources they need.
