NICEVILLE, Fla. — LJ Schooners Dockside Restaurant & Oyster Bar will host its 7th Annual Chili Cook-Off on Saturday, November 15, 2025, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Bluewater Bay Marina Complex, with awards presented at 6:30 p.m.

The event offers two ways to participate —either by competing or by consuming —and proceeds will benefit Crisis Aid for Littles and Moms (CALM), a nonprofit organization that helps local mothers and children.
Competition registration is free, but preregistration is required for event setup, according to the Bluewater Bay Marina. Adult tasters can attend for $10, which includes chili samples, one voting ticket, and four beer sample tickets for Oyster City brews. Children under 12 may join for $5. Additional People’s Choice votes may be purchased for $1 each.
Live music by Ronni Kay and Matt McCarty will follow the competition from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., providing entertainment throughout the evening.

Awards will be given to the first, second, and third-place People’s Choice winners. The event is part of the Bluewater Bay Marina’s continuing tradition of community gatherings that support local charities.
