DESTIN, Fla. — The Mattie Kelly Arts Foundation (MKAF) is now accepting applications for the Adult Collaborative Art Exhibit, part of the 30th annual Festival of the Arts scheduled for October 25–26 at the Mattie Kelly Cultural Arts Village.
The Festival will open with the Arty Kick Off Party on Friday, October 24, before the main event takes place that weekend. One of the festival’s signature features, the Collaborative Art Exhibit, showcases works from both seasoned and emerging adult artists, along with local student artists, competing for the $1,050 McIlroy Awards.
The awards honor the late Patricia McIlroy, Destin’s first First Lady and a supporter of MKAF.
Artists in the Adult Collaborative Exhibit may display and sell up to three pieces of artwork. All work should reflect the quality expected of a juried fine art show.
The competition is open to the first 25 eligible applicants.
The entry fee is $35 per person for up to three pieces no larger than 24 inches by 36 inches. The application deadline is Friday, September 5, 2025.
Applications can be downloaded at mkaf.org/arts-festival or by contacting Deb Nissley at deb@mkaf.org or (850) 650-2226.
