The honorary designation, “Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians” (F.A.A.F.P.), recognizes physicians who have demonstrated excellence in family medicine through professional development and community service, the FAFP said.

Established in 1971, the fellowship honors those who meet rigorous criteria, including a minimum of six years of AAFP membership, extensive continuing education, public service participation, original research, and teaching in the field of family medicine.

Dr. Noggle’s recognition places him among more than 18,000 family physicians nationwide who have earned the fellowship since its inception.

The Florida Academy of Family Physicians (FAFP), based in Jacksonville, is a chapter of the AAFP, serving over 6,500 family medicine professionals throughout Florida. The FAFP supports its members through education, advocacy, and research to advance family medicine’s impact on healthcare across the state.
