In preparation for the Independence Day holiday, there will be no lane closures on major state roads from 7 a.m. Wednesday, July 3 to 11:59 p.m. Sunday, July 7.
BAY COUNTY:
— U.S. 98, west of Tyndall Drive-Airey Avenue to east of Louisiana Avenue
U.S. 98 drivers may encounter intermittent lane closures between Tyndall Drive- Airey Avenue, and Louisiana Avenue through the end of August.
— U.S. 98 Widening from east of Nautilus Street to east of Richard Jackson Boulevard
U.S. 98 westbound drivers will encounter alternating lane closures between Clara Avenue and Nautilus Street on Monday, July 1, and Tuesday, July 2, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. Construction crews will be installing low-profile barrier walls.
