PACE, Fla. — Eglin Federal Credit Union (EFCU) has opened a new branch in Pace.
The new EFCU Pace Branch is at 4413 US 90. A ribbon-cutting ceremony was held to mark the event.
The Pace Branch is EFCU’s third location in Santa Rosa County. The Navarre Branch opened nearly 17 years ago in August 2007, and the Gulf Breeze ATM/Video Teller location opened in September 2023.
La Macchia Group is the design/build firm for the new Pace Branch.
EFCU said its Freeport Branch is opening soon, and its operations center is expected to be completed this summer.
The National Credit Union Administration recently approved expanding EFCU’s field of membership to include anyone who lives, works (or regularly conducts business in), worships or attends school, and businesses and other legal entities in specific geographic locations within Santa Rosa County, Escambia County, Florida, and Escambia County, Alabama.
“There are approximately 15,000 members in Santa Rosa County, and we are looking forward to extending the benefits of membership to our new neighbors near our new Pace Branch,” said Eglin Federal Credit Union President/CEO Jerry Williams.
“We chose this convenient location to provide easy access to affordable products and services as well as financial wellness resources that add value to this community.”
The Pace Branch is approximately 4,400 square feet and showcases a new open branch design with a member engagement area featuring interactive touch-screen monitors. It is a full-service branch with safe deposit boxes, a Coinstar® machine, night drop, touch-screen video tellers, and drive-thru ATMs.
