EGLIN AIR FORCE BASE, Fla. — The 53rd Weapons Evaluation Group will conduct flight and boat operations in the Gulf of Mexico on April 9–11.
Each day, fighter aircraft will release munitions between 8 a.m. and 1 p.m., approximately 11.5 nautical miles south of Destin over the Gulf of Mexico.
The test will be conducted within a cleared-range safety area, which includes boat surveillance in the Gulf. Notices will be issued to mariners before missions.
In addition, flyers will be handed out at the local marina. Boaters are encouraged to contact local marinas for information on notices to mariners.
