FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Eglin Federal Credit Union (EFCU) has once again demonstrated its excellence in serving the community by securing three prestigious awards in the 2023 Finest on the Emerald Coast Community Choice Awards.
EFCU was voted as the best Credit Union, best Place to Work, and best Mortgage Lending Company, as chosen by locals, members, and employees.

The tradition of winning community choice awards is not new to EFCU. The credit union has won an award yearly since the Northwest Florida Daily News started the competition in 2010.
In addition to the recent recognition in the 2023 Finest on the Emerald Coast Community Choice Awards, EFCU was named Large Business of the Year in 2023 by the Niceville Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce. These awards join a growing list of accolades, with EFCU being recognized as Florida’s Credit Union of the Year in 2022 by the League of Southeastern Credit Union and Affiliates, Corporate Business of the Year for 2021 by the Fort Walton Beach Chamber of Commerce, and Large Business of the Year for 2020 by the Crestview Area Chamber of Commerce.
