Celebration on Iceis a first class theatrical variety ice-show that combines the beauty and excitement of figure skating with the intimacy and passion of a musical-theatre production. To date the show has performed around the world and is now embarking on a USA Tour starting in early 2015.
The Celebration on Ice cast consists of professional figure skaters, specialty ice acts, comedians and a feel good theme that makes the show great fun for audiences of all ages. From the glitz and glamour of Las Vegas, to the exhilaration of Broadway & Hollywood, the family-friendly show is performed to the sounds of American classic tunes from the 1950s and ‘60s Rock ‘n Roll to Motown and today’s most popular radio hits.
Tickets are on sale now from the Mattie Kelly Arts Center Box Office for $35 adult and $20 for youth ages 18 and younger. A group discount of $30 for adults and $15 youth is available for groups of 10 or more tickets purchased together. The Mattie Kelly Fine & Performing Arts Center is a non-profit entity of Northwest Florida State College and a portion of all ticket sales supports NWF State College scholarships.
A record of nine (9) nationally touring Broadway shows and Artist events appear from January to March 2015 at the fine and performing arts complex that is located on the college’s Niceville campus, at 100 College Boulevard, East. The center is easily accessible from coastal communities in Destin via the Mid-Bay Bridge and the new Hwy 293 Mid-Bay connector road or via Highway 85 from Fort Walton Beach or Interstate 10.
All national shows appear for one night only in the center’s magnificent 1,650 seat mainstage theater. The center also offers a full slate of art exhibitions, productions by the college’s renowned fine arts division, concerts by the Northwest Florida Symphony Orchestra and more. Celebration On Ice will be performed on a state-of-the-art synthetic ice stage. By contract, all national show ticket prices are plus a $2 per ticket Box Office processing fee.
